TRRC Council Meeting

TRRC will have a meeting on Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Child Safety Center of White County. The address is 414 Rodgers Drive in Searcy. We will have a short meeting and then our program for the night will be a presentation by Elizabeth Rose, an education and prevention specialist who works at the Safety Center. Mrs. Rose will share some tips on recognizing students of trauma in your classroom and will give us a tour of the facility. With more and more students being affected by trauma, this is a very timely program. We, as educators, are just beginning to better understand how we must address the needs of the whole child, not just their academic status. Hope to see you there!
